Download the VibeChat app from Google Play or the App Store. Open the app, tap "Continue with Google" to sign in with your Google account, then set your unique username and a secure password to complete your profile setup.

Yes! You can sign in using a username and password on the login screen. If you're a new user, you can register directly with a username and password without needing a Google account.

Your password must be at least 8 characters long, contain at least one uppercase letter, and include at least one number. This ensures your account stays secure.

From the Chat tab, tap the purple "+" button in the bottom right corner. This opens the New Chat screen where you can search for any user by their username. Tap their name to start a conversation instantly.

Yes! VibeChat uses Firebase Realtime Database, which means messages are delivered and appear within milliseconds — no need to refresh or pull to update.

Yes. Online status indicators appear next to each contact's avatar in your chat list, so you always know who's available for a conversation.

Navigate to the Profile tab using the bottom navigation bar. Tap on your profile picture to upload a new one from your device's gallery. The change is saved instantly to Firebase Cloud Storage.

Usernames are currently set during profile setup and cannot be changed after they are confirmed. We are working on adding a username change feature in a future update.

Go to the Profile tab and scroll to the bottom. Tap "Logout Account" to securely sign out of your account. Your data remains safe in the cloud.

VibeChat is built with Flutter and runs natively on Android (Android 6.0+). A web version is planned for future releases.

This usually means a network issue. Check your internet connection and ensure you're not behind a restrictive firewall. Force-close the app and reopen it. If the issue persists, please contact our support team.

Yes! VibeChat is completely free to download and use. There are no subscription fees or in-app purchases required to access any of the core messaging features.
